Cause I'm really getting into the idea of a Forza with endurance racing. I think it would be huge fun. Is there already a game or something that has endurance racing?

I remember doing some four hour races in GT2. I think there may have been longer ones as well, and there's probably some in the newer games as well.

A friend and I tag teamed a 24 hour endurance event in Gran Turismo 4. It was awesome.

One of the Gran Turismos had a mode where you could start a race and have the computer do it for you. Some took so long it was the only way I could bare it. Even on auto run and sped up they took more hours than any human should spend in front of a screen.

iRacing will do long hosted races, I think they do a 24 Hours of Daytona. I know you can also set up your own races with friends for any amount of time.

In iRacing, aside from the special events like 24hrs of Daytona you have the Roadwarrior series and now that they've implemented team racing/driver swaps the range for endurance events is looking great. Also, leagues.

I think that was GT4. Fantastic game, but some of the races were stupidly long and I eventually gave up on the game once I reached them.

Yeah. I think that was my breaking point. And I couldn't pass one of the higher licensing tests. I just kept barely missing the mark.

Forza 5 had the Indy race at long beach. It was a weekend only thing but you got an achievement if you completed the 3 hour race.

Also early Forza 4 there were long races but were replaced, no clue why but they were updated early in the games release. Im pretty sure 3 had long races too

Endurance is still there, sort of, but all of them have been shortened, for example the 24 hours of Nürburgring are now the 24 minutes of Nürburgring with sped up time progression and sped up tire wear/fuel consumption. Same goes for the others.

BOOOOOOOOO PD. I loved pulling a all nigher on the 12 hour ones and a full day of 24hours with friends handing off the controller. It pains me to hear that GT is slowly removing the neat stuff that made there series special.

SimBin gtr evo. If you''re competent you can get endurance mods on rfactor, rfactor2, assetto corsa. Iracing is ok. But not enough content to justify the price.

Actually, as far as I know, GT6 doesn't have endurance races. At least not the 24 hours of LeMans and 24 hours of Nurburgring from GT5, which you both needed to finish to complete the whole game. :)
